Back from the grave with info.

Hey folks, I'm back!
Apparently Death enjoy my 5-panels, and therefor made me the deal of my lifetime... literally. But she wanted something in return, and I guess I shouldn't complain, being alive and all, but...

I feel so... NAKED!
But you may ask what I'm going to do about Deadpool, him taking over the site and all. But I have already taken care of it; I told him about a certain comic-book named Thunderbolts, and lets just say that his priorities changed a bit.
Anyway, I'm back, so it's back to doing 5-panels. I have a couple of ideas, including Chaos War and Future Imperfect, and I shall try and do them as fast as possible, so I can focus on my Christmas special. It's not going to be all laughs, because its going to be a look at my favorite team comic, but I hope you would take a look at it anyway.
And I would also like to remind you that I'm on Twitter and Facebook, if it is of any interest.
And, of coarse, if you have a request, then I shall do my best to make a 5-panel about it.
Thank you for your time, ladies and gentlemen. See ya tomorrow with my review of Busiek's Defenders

The Galactus Trilogy in 5 panels (?)

Oh no! Galactus is going to eat Earth, and I'm too big a wuss to do something about it! Save us Deadpool!

Well done, Deadpool! By destroying Galactus, you have saved the planet and collected every single Pokemon!
I wanna be your useless sidekick, who always live in your shadow, until the day I become a junkie cyborg.
And I wanna be your sex slave!
 Me too!

Deadpool in 5 panels (?)

5 panels? My awesome-sauce in only 5 panels?
Please Deadpool, all my works are 5 panels long. Its the whole idea.
Oh, you mean like the Dark Phoenix Saga and Annihilation?
Those were fan-requests, and besides, if you think about it, the Phoenix Sage is kind of two stories, and Annihilation...
And now its YOUR turn, Mr. I-Cant-Draw-Deadpool-Macho-Enough!

And you, your bunch of geeks!

Hey kids! Good news! I'm taking over the site!

Annihilation in 5 panels.

... It is unknown how bad the condition of Waezi2 is, but we were told that before he became unconscious, right before he could finish his 5-panel version of the graphic novel Annihilation, he whispered; "Awesomesauce."

Annihilation tie-ins in 5 panels.

Man, I'm bored... Wonder what happens if you mess around with the universal order...
I am completely insignificant to the plot. But I'm annoying, that's got to count for something.
Suck it, Judge Dredd!
I am the sole survivor of the Nova Corps... Again... Blue blazes, this is getting old...

(To be continued...)

Waezi2 Halloween reading part 14

I have two recommendations more. Starting with a Arkham-free Batman book for a change.
The most of the Batman comics I have owe are mostly those about Arkham, because, well, I'm not the biggest Batman fan.
Dude, I don't HATE Batman, I  just don't care about him the same way as the other heroes! Mostly because I just think I had my fair dose of Batman since I were a kid, with the animated show, the movies and the comics that were one of the few titles I could read translated to Danish. And I just think that Batman is a little bit overrated... Dear god, did I just write that? Look, lets focus on the actual review, shall we?
If you told me four years ago that I should read a book called Batman & Dracula; Red Rain, I would tell you that I were an adult, and didn't have time for such stupid ideas. Man, was I an annoying prat. The first rule about superhero-comics is, that there is no such thing as an bad idea for a story, unless its badly told.
Alright, FINE! There IS such a thing as downright bad ideas, but you get my point. Superhero comics are absurd by definition, and the art in it is to make the absurdity work. And this story does. It a dramatic tale of the fight against evil with great artwork and good dialog, where the Dark Knight has to become even darker than before in order to save Gotham City from Dracula and his army of bloodsuckers. A great book for Halloween.
Darkforce is an energy-source from the Darkforce Dimension that has the ability to assume the properties of both matter and energy depending on the needs of the user. It has granted powers to charterers such as Cloak, who use it to teleportation, or Spot, who use it to create dimensional holes. Henrique Gallante, a young damaged man, unfortunately has the ability to control and manipulate the Darkforce as he is pleased, and use it to spread terror in New York, and only a handful of heroes, including the New Warriors, are there to fight the poor civilians, who are now under his control... Seriously, WHY would anyone live in NYC anymore? Its pretty much a war-zone for supers!
Forces Of Darkness, Forces Of Light is my favorite New Warriors story-line, and besides the Warriors and their bad-ass reserve-member Darkhawk, also has Thing, Spider-Man, Cloak and Dagger and more.

That's the recommendations for this year. Happy Halloween folks.

Waezi2 Halloween reading part 13

More Arkham. This time its the six issue miniseries Arkham Asylum; Living Hell.
Warren Withe, a crooked financier, claims to be insane in an attempt to evade jail. But he learns quickly, that in Gotham City, you are better of in the slammer than in the nuthouse. Withe is in for one hell of a ride, as he meets the most disgusting creatures on the planet first hand. But can he survive the living hell, or will he be consumed?
The day I get tired of reading about Arkham Asylum is the day I get tired of life. This is the greatest tale I have read about Arkham AKA hell on earth. The place that not only contains cruelty and madness, but gives birth to it as well, as we see in this series.
Oh, and it has demons, too, for some reasons...
The world is cruel and unfair: The Astounding Wolf-Man only lasted 25 issues!
Oh, and something about people starving and stuff...
Gary Hampton has it all: Beautiful wife, loving daughter, good job, and he can afford anything they need and want. But then he gets attacked by a werewolf, and... well... the writer is Robert Kirkman who is also the writer of Invincible and Walking Dead, so needless to say, his life is not going to be full of joy.
It's a damn shame that this series was so short-lived, it's my favorite Kirkman comic. And I love the art done by Jason Howard. I haven't seen other comics drawn by him besides Wolf-Man and (dear God NO) Super Dinosaur, but I hope I will.
Highly recommend.
